- There are 5 sections with 3 parts per section. Each section is a page of the PDF. We'll take breaks in-between parts and sections.
- Almost all of this is sung with just an "ahhh" and no lyrics, except for page 5.
- Page 5 (measures 187 to the end) will be sung with the lyrics "I love you." Placement of the lyrics and some suggested breathing marks are labeled.
- There are some pretty long tied notes in there; we'll figure out where we're breathing on recording day. If we have enough people, we can probably stagger the breathing and not worry about it. Basically, don't worry about the breathing right now and breathe wherever you need to.
- On measure 19, the treble clef part jumps up an octave while the bass clef part doesn't. This jump to F5 is there for any sopranos or mezzos that feel comfortable doing it. Everyone else would follow the same pattern as the bass clef shows. This is the only thing we might not sing in unison.
- At least four singers will have headphones. The headphones will play the included MP3. That MP3 is a metronome as well as the part played on a piano with a synth choir. There is also a faint background mix of the other parts, so the chords can be somewhat audible. If we have more than 4 singers, the singers without headphones will watch the first 4 singers for visual cues for where to come in and where to stop. Singing will be unison, so they will reference the first four singers for pitch.
- When we record, we will most likely stop after each part to drink water and review the next part.
